Job Placement Services
help to merge a client’s skills with pre-employment
workshops thus helping ensure a successful transition and
employment outcome.
These services include the following:
- Development of a job placement plan with the client outlining
the
steps and strategies required to obtaining competitive employment;
- Various employment workshops and job search skills, which
will include cover letters, researching the labour market,
interview techniques, networking, handling rejection and
employer follow-up procedures;
- Resume preparation and development of agreed upon job
search expectations and timelines;
- In accordance with the client’s plan, assistance with
arranging a suitable job placement/work experience. The
objective is to find an appropriate workplace setting for
the development and assessment of skills with the intent
of a transition into an employment opportunity;
- Monitoring of the workplace experience to ensure that
the client meets the job requirements and employer expectations,
providing support co-ordination to ensure successful progression
to employment;
- Assistance in negotiating support for the initial hiring
period, such as further additional training, technical aids
and or recommendation of other support services or assistance.
